Flipped Classroom Teaching Model
In 2014, I embarked on a journey to enhance math education accessibility for 6th-grade students and families through the creation of flipped classroom math videos. By flipping the traditional classroom model, I create video lessons for students to access at their own pace and convenience, empowering them to review concepts as needed. This approach not only allowed for more personalized learning experiences but also fostered greater collaboration and communication between students and their parents, who could now actively participate in their child's mathematical journey. Through these videos, I aimed to demystify mathematical concepts, promote deeper understanding, and ultimately enhance overall math proficiency among students.
All the math videos and curriculum resources are hosted in my class website Ms. Li's Math Page
